Random, I was hearing from about 3 different places the same info. It wasn't all the exact same, but you could connect the dots from all the pieces. There's no way the people I was hearing things from were "duped" by any posts of yours. So many people in the LSU community was hearing much of the same info.
I think we're all pissed it didn't happen.

I'd be speculating there Les.
I think LSU people felt confident they had him and backed out. Now whether or not that was due to an FSU counter, we'll see.

It appears to me that Jimmy Sexton has tried a few times to push a last minute homerun of some type in his clients' contracts and has burned a few deals.

Yeah I just don't know if I buy that. Could be possible that Sexton's counter could have pissed them off once they thought a deal was reached. Could be spin.

Alexander is a West Coast Liberal, he believes higher education should get all the money it can from the govt. He felt it would jeopardize his position of begging for handouts and less cuts to his budget if LSU started dropping Texas money.
We have the money, take a look around campus and the stadium. The money comes from private boosters not the school. The more educated of us know that. Alexander hitched his wagon to cheap horse.

IMO, no way was money an issue unless there was a last minute effort to increase the deal that screwed the deal instead.

Thanks bro, I feel exactly the same about the situation, I had numbers also, itll all come out soon. 6.5 mil I was told and we were 500K from getting our guy had our admistration had any backbone.
