There's no way he's top 3 much less top 5.

Kiffin, Enos, Riley, Briles (both of them), Helfrich, Sark all ahead of him.

Sark

i would agree but he seems to not be able to stay sober, so i will say sark is unhirable even as a position coach

Because I much prefer pro style, top 3 of who I want if only considering college coaches. Great hire if happens, best OC since Jimbo.

*Major Applewhite - I figured would stay w/ Herman or promoted
*Mike Bloomgren-Stan
*Matt Canada-Pitt
*Kennedy Polamalu-Ucla
*Danny Langsdorf- Neb
*Darrin Chiaverini-Colo
*Tim Drevno- I figure won't leave Mich or Lsu wouldn't pay the price
*Jake Spavital - can he out coach Fisher, Saban, Meyer???
*Tony Franklin- Middle Tenn St.
Kiffin -good o/c but would be the last one I'd want

Probably Lincoln Riley

He has done an incredible job at Oklahoma for sure. Has the reputation of an air raid guy but they averaged 222 rushing per game last year and 238 this year.

Well Tennessee didn't want to hire him last year and he hasn't coached a QB worth mentioning. I hope he works out but to me this isn't a good sign for the future.

Helfrich has only called plays twice in his career- frost and kelly made that offense
Sark is a drunk and his offense hasn't been good in 10 years

Riley is the best spread coordinator
Enos is the best pro -style

I'd never heard of Matt Canada until a couple weeks ago. I like Kennedy from OU. I'm surprised Rick Neuhisel doesn't get a look from someone, he sounds like he would like to get back to coaching.

First thing you do is target a OC from a team with a defensive background head coach. Canada fits that bill along with Riley and Kiffin. Canada is top 5 for our needs. Main reason I wasn't high on Helfrich is not sure how much of that offense is his. All things being equal, which they aren't, my list would have been Art Briles (if rape shite never happened), Riley, Canada, Kiffin, Helfrich. Applewhite would not have even gotten a call. Tee Martin would have made top 10 strictly on recruiting ability.

Don't want Art Briles and I'd prefer not to have Kendall. I don't want that kind of spread. My top 5, and I'd really have to look at it to arrange it in order, would be Canada, Kiffin, Riley, Gilbert and Sark. Which is exactly why I said, definitely top 5 maybe top 3

Briles runs the power spread. Look at Baylors rushing numbers.
