He's too old. We need someone who can build a program before he starts drawing Social Security

We'd run that place. It would be like the now-forgotten French crime film A Prophet, except with less Arabs and Corsicans.

Reading this thread, knowing what needs to be done (hire Dave), and how it will precisely not happen has made me so mad

We’re gonna waste a third of our budget stitching together hats for Jimbo’s melon head, aren’t we?

There seemed to have been traction, but from the fan perspective that gains this information, then relays it here, that means it’s a done deal

I am honestly scared SW is trying for Jimbo for a 2nd time during this search. Legit scared.

I meant to say I agree with you on both points you made.

Anger was directed at the folks simping for SW saying it’s all in the grand plan or some shite

Part of an AD’s job is to sell. If he can’t convince top coaches to come here then him being at the helm is a problem for the whole program. We should have had an announcement last night.

If you read that Rabalais article it's scary as frick b/c SW seems to be scrambling to give out a mega contract...but who is worth it now?

This intellectual superiority rant isn’t any better than the fake insiders. You are basing this all on tea leaves, blind conjecture, and shite that’s been propagated on this board, rather than by any legitimate sources.

No one here knows ANYTHING and that’s the only real truth you will find here today. We will know when we know, and that’s pretty much all there is at this point. Some of you just can’t help but try to be the man who can say they called it first before then, and that’s all this fricking thread is.

There are legit sources. You just need to know who to look for. They aren't people who promote themselves like TBL or Vol.

Also, Dellinger confirmed that influential people thought the deal was done. He's a legit reporter not some message board "insider".

Please explain to the class what this thread is "calling first".

I think you need to take a deep breath. I don’t believe for one second there’s no plan b, and I’m also not sure he’s going to let Riley go that easily.

He’s smart enough to know he can’t sell Mark Stoops or BOB to the fan base, especially at this point (and I actually like Stoops).

I’m a little nervous about Jimbo too Bc SW seems to have blinders on about him. I’d circle back to Kiffin personally. He’s a good coach and would give us the immediate jolt we need.

There's just no rationalizing with some posters.

Some posters, looking at you slackster, legit think that guys like Dellinger have sources, and their sources are just going off of what the TBLs and Vols of message boards are saying.

I don't know but to be fair...there were legit reporters saying he was never coming to LSU also.

I don't know who else is left. Also that Rabalais article makes it seem like he's got $100M to burn.

I could live with Campbell or Stoops, but not for that kind of commitment.

This is what I'm REALLY worried about.

It legit kept me up last night

Yeah they're not bout that life.

That's for guys like Moscona or Jordy who steal content form here...not actual reporters.

Ross’ report doesn’t exactly fly against what the “insiders” were saying though. “Boosters”, “people close to the program”, that what these “insiders” are. And they were obviously wrong.
