I can't imagine a single scenario where he wouldn't. Love him or hate him as a coach, he's a great person who wouldn't leave without speaking to his team one last time.

I think this separation is more amicable than his one at OSU.

Unless someone from within the LSU program tells him not to...why do you ask?

Unless (like at Okie State) the administration doesn't allow it, then yes, I think he does tell them goodbye. I think he's a good man and believe he genuinely loves these kids.

He'll probably tell them that he has enjoyed the opportunity to compete with each of them on the field of play against opponents during games and at other points during each and every season.

I don't think he would 'go Petrino' on the kids.

Waits and Eisenstein? Never thought I'd see that combo on this message board. You do realize it's lost on the general population.

I really can't believe that Michigan concluded that Miles is their best option. I love Les. He is a great guy, but I don't think he's a great game day coach. If Les gets 5mil. Holly shite.....

he already met with the underclassmen (per Bobby Hebert) he dont know what was said. Maybe he was telling them bye or maybe he was telling them that he would be back.
