Even if he didn’t, why does Napier jump to the top of any list? Self created noise doesn’t equate to attention when the man in charge knows what’s up.

Yup Billy set all this up including having away for UF to fire Mullen this week so he could put the screws.
Look, we probably have higher rated candidates on the hook but let’s be honest:
LSU know what it’s like to go once a decade against Spurrier and Saban when the wrong choice is made. That’s the fear and Woody’s risk on the hire. Mess this up and he’s Joe Dean listening to players begging for Archer.
