Could they announce this week? Any history of NFL coaching change announcements mid-season?

Didn't Petrino leave a note to the team and left in the middle of the night?

I think it was literally a sticky note. Petrino gives no fricks.

I just don’t see how it could be a head coach of an NFL team.

Go down the list and it essentially narrows to Urban. Doesn’t really fit the vetted for a year narrative, but tbh all the narratives so far have been BS.

Yeah I’d think Urban or Rhule. I can’t imagine he’d hire someone with no college coaching experience.

Yeah if it is an NFL coach I believe it's out of them. I just don't know what to expect at this point.

Yes and he is a laughing stock

That's why i can't see it being rhule.

He is only in year 2. Rhule doesn't sound like a guy who would quit o his team like that.

Like i said before i would be shocked if woodward somehow pulled rhule.

I always assumed Rhule is only going back to college for the Penn State job. That may not be accurate, but I think that’s the best chance he returns.

Well if he’s fired, which he will be if they have a losing record next year, that job won’t be open for some time….
