If Freeze can coach again why not Will Wade or Art Briles?

Briles has paid his dues and once Wade's show cause is up he will be back at a big time school

Wade hasn't received a show cause penalty. However, many are expecting him to get one so I doubt an AD wants to hire a guy now he may have to let go after one season.
Briles's downfall was the result of rampant allegations of sexual assault among football players and the handling of such allegations. There have been reports that have come out since Briles was fired calling into question the degree in which he was aware of such activity and how much of a role he did or did not play in failing to investigate the claims or vet potential transfers into the program. But in today's culture no major college AD really wants to stick out his neck for a guy with that in his past.
Freeze's wrongdoing were recruiting related (very commonplace) and allegedly using the services of hookers. Fair or not, it is easier for the public to look past the indiscretions of an adult male engaging in acts with willing professionals than it is for them to over look someone allowing women to be assaulted against their will.

It’s amazing that people still don’t understand why Briles and everyone else at Baylor was fired. Baylor and Briles suppressed reports. That’s literally against the law. It’s immaterial if the accusations are true or not, it’s the job of university leaders to make reports and conduct investigations.

This. No ncaa sanctions, no criminal charges, or conviction. The man just flat out got canceled. I don’t see why he shouldn’t get a shot at redemption as an oc/hc somewhere. He was hired by Grambling then forced out in less than a week basically by media bringing heat. How many years is Hugh gonna be announced as the former ole miss coach who cheated, etc. etc.? I think auburn made a good hire but pr is gonna be a bitch.

Freeze is a piece of shite. Bottom line. I’m not going to tell someone who they can or can’t hire, but personally there’s a lot of up and comers out there that don’t carry that baggage. This is embarrassing for Auburn.
I’ve been a big Coach Prime endorser and after seeing this hire…why not take a chance on Deon? He’s done a lot of great things. Even helping kids prior to the JSU job. Instead, hire a washed up POS.
