Bob Shoop should be among the first calls I feel like like. Given his connections to O I feel like Clancy would have the inside track though.

Probably referring to Corey Raymond.

Not sure if he’s ready or not. (He’s never served the role, but I’m sure he’s learned a lot from aranda)

I think Corey might go with Aranda and be his DC, it would probably be a smart move for him too. Get great experience as a DC with a mentor to keep you on the right track. Obviously USU isn’t the brand name as LSU. But long term success is probably better staying under Aranda a few more years.

My initial thought as well, but then thought maybe Bush. Honestly, I don't know too much about Bush, but I know Aranda really wanted him to join the staff here.

LSU has a weird policy about having to have previous experience in that position in order to get that job, whether it’s good or bad, so I doubt it would be Raymond

Negative. Not after DA took half of Corey’s job away by wanting to hire Busch.

Monte Kiffin?

If his knees are up to it - why not? We've had Pete Jenkins and Sully on staff since 2016. Monte won't be 80 for another 15 months or so.

When locking down E, O essentially said that an old position coach is one of the best coordinators in the country.

Gotta bring back Pete Jenkins for the role if Aranda leaves. Fate.
