No. I'm telling you the incoming coach has told the AD who to ask if they were interested in keeping their current position

This board can do whatever the hell we want. We have nothing to do with the hiring of a college coach. We can also discuss shop for Alabama and Floridas next head coach. It has about the same effect from this board.

I actually had sources last coaching search and this time around none of them have a clue what the heck is going on. Everyone has confidence in Scott though.

The most accurate post ever made on this board!
Still fun reading it, though! ??

Orgeron knows he has been fired. Did Woodward announce to him who was his replacement?

No wonder some of you guys are pulling for lesser coaches. The thought processes just aren't there.

What does this even mean?

Orgeron was given the same offer to stay on at LSU. He signed. Yet he doesn't know who the next coach will be. Why would his assistants be given that information, if he didn't?

Posters are running around screaming SW couldn't have made a hire yet, because coaches who were fired, aren't leaking who fired them. And these posters all seem to be the same guys pushing Kiffin, Riley, Aranda, Napier, O'Brien, Tucker (who never made the list). Their ability to compartmentalize seems lacking.

They didn't name the coach, just that he was bringing his own staff for their position.

So let me get this straight, the assistant coaches who have to make an actual life decision don't know who their new boss would be, but you do?

Yes. Said they could stay on if they would like, and make there own decision when informed. They are all La. kids and have family here, so they agreed for now.

Can you break this down for me?
The new coach said they all could stay on or just those 3 coaches?

They are all la kids?

I'm not sure what you do for a living, but most bosses of million dollar enterprises dont sit in on interviews. You generally dont meet the boss until after you are on staff.

And a different viewpoint is that Scotty was already on staff before his boss Tate was hired. The exact same principle applies here. LSU assts. are already on staff before the new coach is hired. Those not fired are free to leave after the name is announced.

You don't think there's a difference between meeting the boss and not even knowing who your boss is?

Also, these guys are direct subordinates of "the boss". You don't think the boss participates in the hiring of his immediate subordinates? Going along with your analogy, these aren't middle management positions we're taking about here.

Besides, you missed my entire point in your rush to illustrate how little I know about multi million dollar enterprises. My point was, I'm skeptical some random guy on the internet knows who the boss is, but the coaches he's trying to hire don't.
