I think his teams have played like crap for the better part of 3 years. I'm not saying LSU can't do worse, but I'm pretty sure we could also improve. Either way, LSU will always be LSU and I dont care who comes in to coach. Although my top choice would be:

Gruden - Great with QB's, has grit and drive and shows passion and I know some high school players that play football in Texas that in just talking to them would love to play under him.

He would be a great leader and I think would have the opportunity to be a legend in college football coaches. Just saying

1. Gruden is not coming and if he all of a sudden became an idiot and did come his offense is way too involved for the college game.

2. Miles is not that bad all we need is a good OC and we will compete for championships year in and year out.

Have you actually looked at his record at Tampa (3 losing seasons in 7 years)? Or the number of QBs he signed and did not develop? Think their might be a reason why they brought in a new QB after he left? Pretty sure Tampa has improved greatly since he left, including QB play. How is that different from your opinion of Miles?

and he's still only 1 win shy of the best record in the SEC over the past 6 years.

Oakland record: 38-26
Tampa Bay record: 57-55

Just because he won a Super Bowl doesn't make him a great candidate for the HC at LSU. How is he as a recruiter?

I have no doubt his offense would be better if he could dumb it down for the college game however I still am holding on to the hope that crowton will be out..

Coach Miles should stay at LSU.

He has a better situation here than at Michigan. If not better for his own hopes and dreams, it is better for his family.

If he goes to Mich and does not win the Big Ten in a few years, he will be on the hot seat. Here at LSU, he'll be fine if he just wins the SEC West in the next three years.

LSU fans are much more patient than Michigan fans. Much less pressure at LSU.

Really?!?! I couldn't tell you wanted Miles to go.

He's not going to coach college ball. Just get over it.

Are you going to be happy when Alleva hires Dana Holgorsen or someone who isn't a huge name?

Why would you want a coach whose life time winning percentage is just a hair over 50%?

Les Miles doesn't seem to have a problem getting Texas HS players to vome to LSU.

Les Miles is in his sixth season at LSU and has a 61-17 record, which includes a national championship
