Word on the street is Bham is putting pressure on SEC schools to not hire him on staff. Its not direct pressure though, as they only made the show-cause penalty for HC positions.

Piss on BHam

Saban loves him some Birmingham.

I would hire the man just for that alone.

Actually if Birmingham is advocating against it, that’s a “positive column” consideration for LSU to hire him.

I guarantee they wouldn’t try to stop Saban from hiring him.

This is why I love Aranda and why he’d make a great HC. Calm demeanor aside, in order to be a defensive genius, he also has to be an offensive genius in a way.

O wanted to work on our power game, which was pitiful, especially against BYU, Miss State, and Syracuse.

What is unsettling, is Canada couldn't do it against f'n Troy, or he did not know how. Is this typical expectation of a 1.5 million dollar a year OC? Deer-in-the-headlights when asked to run a little power football against Troy?Just asking.

O and Alleva need this to work. They NEED to win. We will 10 regular season games next year with that brutal schedule and all is forgiven.

Yep. Fact is, if Coach O wins, then all will be overlooked. Obviously not everything, but the nitpicky stuff people bitch about on the side.

I want to believe it too and would take any of the listed candidates over Ensminger. If any of those guys are hired, then I will call myself a bitch for falling for the premature melt. It was easy to fall, due to the history of the Orgeron hire.

From what I hear, EVERYBODY on the staff hated Canada.

Which is comical when the other guy with a source said that everyone got along great. Ball Champ or something? He was the guy who said Aranda was staying 100%.

If Wednesday gets here and E isnt the OC then it will be clear.

Well, it will be sort of clear - obviously "something" happened with Gilbert over the weekend. Now, there's no reason not to hire him right now if he's the choice. Now, if they're waiting until guys get knocked out of the playoffs to interview Sark and Lombardi? That's intriguing.

Geauxst has zero sources and uses confirmation bias to justify his positions. Aranda put in a good word for Canada, he didnt "hate" him.

Considering we fricking lost to Troy, it sounds like Canada was correct in this case, no?

Orgeron thought Troy was a good time to work on some things and proceeded to coach over the most embarrassing loss in over a decade.

If E isnt the OC Wednesday then he won't be the OC. Thats probably the only thing I can say I'm 100% on.
