20% career winning percentage

Matches Grambling’a graduation rate perfectly.

I was talking to the poster named Boring. This is a very good hire for Grambling. This is a much better hire than SU made. SU hired a SWAC retread.

Good or bad hire is opinion. It’s a verifiable fact that he has a 20% lifetime win rate as a head coach.

I’m sorry you hate reality.

I like it. I have a friend who played for him at the raiders and loves Coach Hue. Should open up the offense.

I mean, one of the worst programs in the country just hired a former NFL head coach. They could certainly do worse.

Eric Dooley is very well respected around the SWAC. I would venture to say, he will own Hue Jackson and Grambling doing his tenure.

I dont know. Fobbs had a 60% winning percentage. Why get rid of him to replace him with a $25% coach?

Fobbs fell off considerably his last few seasons. Fobbs' recruiting especially fell off. And, SWAC schools see what a high profile hire like Deion Sanders has done for JSU on the field but also financially off the field and they want something similar.

Dooley is a retread. SU let a better coach, Odums, walk away to hire Dooley? That's bad business. Dooley couldn't win the SWAC at PVU and right now I'd say PVU has better everything than SU.

X and Os, Hue is no doubt better. Knowing how to navigate the unique aspects that come from working at a SWAC football program, Dooley by a mile, and you cant discount that. Deion can stroll right in because he's a big enough name/personality that he'll bring in talent, Hue isn't.

In 34 years this man has had 23 coaching positions, scattered around. From head coach to assistant to the head coach. From OC one year, to special teams coach the next. This man is just not a good coach.

I agree. I do like to see HBCUs bring in new blood so I support this hire. Hue will need some experienced recruiters for HBCUs.

You sound stupid. Really. You can't remain employed in coaching for that long without being versatile and good at what you do.
