Would hesitate to call Freeman an A+ because it’s not 100% known how much we should attribute Cincy’s defense to Fickell. But he would be a great hire.
Peetz would be an A- to me. No OC experience but he retains Brady’s system and it sounds like he could legitimately be an NFL OC soon as it is.

I would look at it as the opposite of last year. Both Linehan and Pelini were strange hires that made little sense, especially the $$$ on Pelini's deal. If he manages to pull these guys in, especially Freeman, it's an A+ for me. Even if at the end of the season we look back and the results weren't what we had hoped for from Peetz, at least we took a shot and did not simply hire a questionable retread. I do not see any scenario where Freeman isn't successful with this talent. I think we wreck opposing offenses next year. The only downside would be needing to do this again next year because Freeman will be a HC soon.
