Would love to elevate Faulk to staff at some point down the line.
Would hate to lose him to another school.

From what I’ve heard, Faulk doesn’t want an on field role. Not sure how true that is or not.

Robinson has long been rumored to leave LSU this offseason however

It’s been said every offseason he’s been here that he’s headed to the nfl yet he’s still here.

He’s not going anywhere

I thought Faulk still lived in Lafayette and never even moved to BR.

I also was under the impression that he didn’t want an on field role.

Could be wrong.

I don’t think a lot of y’all realize just how much work college assistants do. They are always away from their families, either at the office or on the road to BFE to kiss 16 and 17 year old high schoolers’ asses. It’s not a big surprise that millionaire former NFL players who also get a nice pension for the rest of their lives aren’t all that fired up to do it. They put their bodies through all that shite so they DON’T HAVE TO do all that nonsense.

With Frank Wilson hailing at the last second for a HC job I’m not sure why you’re itching to kick Robinson out. We need a big time recruiting coordinator and Tommie has national ties

tommie robinson for some reason gets no respect. last year people were ready for him to go and now this year you want a coach with no college experience to take his place AFTER CEH laid down one of the most impressive seasons by a running back in the program's history.

If Frank isn’t coming then we have to fight to keep robinson. I don’t see an obvious upgrade over Robinson and we have a very good stable in 2020 with Emery/TDP/Curry/Bradford

I knew this thread was about Faulk since the Demarco Murray news dropped

I’m still so disappointed Frank took that HC job.

Frankly, it was an impressive running attack considering the scheme was all oriented around the pass. Yes, it does have elements of the "power" spread (which was exactly what we needed/should want with the personnel we're able to attract), but it is more difficult to get hard yards under this offense than our previous schemes.

It absolutely blows my mind that so many people disagree with this statement. Faulk is 100% the RB coach when TR gets an NFL job. It’s not even a secret at this point. It’s been talked about on 247 for a year now. Faulk has been closely involved in all the running back recruiting so we don’t miss a beat when TR leaves.

He can stay now that Frank Wilson is off the market.

TR is doing a good job as RB Coach and recruiting coordinator. Why are you guys trying to run him off.
