O has already breached his vow to not interfere with his coordinators, and it looks like he is on the verge of breaching his promise to hire the best coordinators at their respective positions. If so, how many wins do you think it takes for him to be back in 2019, or do you think he gets 3 years no matter what?

I think he’ll get at least 3 years so, 7 wins should keep his job with this schedule. Just my opinion.

I suspect that everyone that gives a shite about wins will no longer care about LSU football. Stadium will be full of Facebook moms that like Coach O.

Were the Facebook moms the 20,000 people left in the stadium in the 4th quarter of the Troy game?

Yep, and they’ll turn it into a big social club. Probably won’t even be paying attention to the games.

He should have to go 10-2, but he probably only has to show up.

Probably 5 or 6. It would have to completely go off the rails for a move to be made next season.

But maybe that 5 or 6 would be enough to make a move on Alleva leading up to a potential O firing the following season.

just watch. No one will attend the spring game. And that will carry over to pitiful actual attendance next year, even moreso than 2017 numbers.

If anything, actual empty seats will be the issue that can't be ignored.

Per TBL, Alleva is in the BOAs good graces for "many other reasons", so tanking on O may not be enough to toss him.

Not as many as you think. LSU is not committed to winning, they are committed to making money and as long as the money comes in all is well.

BINGO!!!

LSU WAS committed to winning under Emmert now they don't care. So as long as Coach O can win 8-9 games a year they good..

Unless he wins less than 7 games, he'll be back for his third and final year (I believe that is the final year of his contract?)

Is this on good authority or pure speculation?

He gets 3 years

Only a losing season could do him in for 2018 IMO

You guys think that after we pay our D.C. 2.5 million, paid the highest paid OC in country to go away, hired E and Sullivan as OC, Lost to Troy at home, Lost bowl game to ND again, finish with below average recruiting class for our standards and what we expected from O.....this list goes on...

You think after all that - that they would keep Orgeron if he win 5 or 6 games? LSU hasnt had a 5 or 6 win season in almost 20 years. Sadly it's a real possibility next year.
