1. Fire Alleva right now if coaches are turning us down to go coach at FAU

2. Kiffin is a moron, he parlayed whats going to be multiple national titles at Bama into head coach of FAU? LOL nice job parlaying your awesome job into a better gig

3. Kiffin's wife deserves better, this guys a schmuck he went from the NFL then downgrades to the SEC then downgrades to the PAC 12 then comes back to the SEC as an offensive coordinator and now heads to FAU as head coach. I've never seen anyone make one downgrade after another.

He's a HC again and if he does well he will eventually land at a bigger program.

Also he's divorced now

He wants to be a head coach. I'm not so sure what's moronic about his choice if that's his goal....even though FAU is pretty damn funny.

Somebody said the other day if you read Kiffin's career in reverse it makes sense. FAU>Bama OC>USC HC>Tenn HC>Oakland.

3 million a year is more than 2 million a year.

He has to prove that he can handle the head coaching gig at ANY school before he can move to a bigger, better conference. As long as someone was willing to hire him to be the head coach of their school, it was a better move than a lateral move from a school that has won multiple national championships since 2007 to a school that hasn't won any in the same time.

It's not but he gets to say he's a head coach again. You have a better chance at landing a HC job at big program as a SEC coordinator than as FAU head coach.

ok and there's a ton of programs looking for a coach, the alabama offensive coordinator, the coordinator of championship teams could get a lot of gigs. Hell he coerced people into the raiders, tennessee, and USC gigs. Oregon and Houston were available and he goes to FAU in the end? Just seems like staying at Bama was a better opportunity

You basically just proved why he needed to take the FAU job. Texas, LSU, Oregon, Purdue, Houston, Cincy, USF etc were all open and yet he either wasnt a candidate or didnt interview well enough at these places. He's basically had to reboot his coaching career and needs to build up a smaller program before another big program will take a chance on him. Even McElwain had to go to CSU after leaving Bama before he wound up at UF

CSU is a much better program. FAU might be a bottom 10 program in the FBS.
