They act like they are top tier or something...
One year does not make up for basically 8 years of mediocrity before that (sans 2004).

So Aubbies, what does that say about your defense if we scored 40+ points on your asses.
That our defense sucked. Everyone knew this.

And, what does it say about the SEC when we were the second highest scoring offense in the conference for SEC games?
That it's a defense driven league.

I just find this hire humorous. He was a GA at Michigan for Brady's last year...
Other than that, his esteemed pupils are Chad Henne and Brian Griese.
His grand accomplishment is leading Temple to 30 points a game.
Chiz slam dunked the DC hire and did the complete opposite on this one.

Our offense had two really bad games (ironically the last two of the year).
The Alabama performance the first time was mediocre.
Otherwise, we played pretty lights out this year.
Granted, it would have been nice to play lights out in the biggest game of the year!

uh, what?
We were pretty good in 2005 and 2006, and 2007, outside of early in the season.

Yeah...I mean, they ran the ball a ton. They didn't have a very good passing team.

By taking a guy that was about to be fired in the NFL? I guess he was decent when he was at Georgia though...

You're not elite though. You had two great seasons.
When people think of the SEC they think of Florida, Georgia, LSU and Alabama. Auburn doesn't really pop in their heads.

The UGA D was really good under VanGorder's watch, iirc.
Plenty of guys fail in the NFL and do well in CFB.
I just think a program like Auburn shouldn't be trying to hire a guy like Loeffler to run their offense. But hey, I'm sure Ole Gene knows what he's doing.

It's amazing to me how most fans forget about Auburn pre-2008. Even more shocking coming from LSU fans considering LSU and Auburn were almost always the favorites to win the west and there were some great games between the two teams. That was always the game I looked forward to the most and yet I hated it. I loved it because it was always close and was the hardest hitting game of the year, and I hated it because I knew if we lost it that it meant no SECCG that year.

Why? He is a "meh" hire and having him on our staff will help LSU win more games against AU.

Georgia? Really? Tennessee would be a better team to put in there if you're taking one from each division. Auburn was consistently in the top 10 or top 15 until that abortion of a season we had in 2008. LSU wasn't always God's gift to football either, before Saban you guys were a joke.

12th in the country in winning percentage over the last decade. Higher than both UF & bama.
Rantards gonna tard.

If by decent you mean the best DC they had in about 40 years, then yeah he was decent.

I do enjoy that this hire will contribute to more arse kickings like the one we dealt you this year, yes.

When does 12th equate to ELITE. I said they were good...not elite.

He also is Brady's trainer in the offseason, and Brady has been quoted as saying he is one of the biggest reasons that he is the QB he is today.

This is coming from the offensive juggernaut that is LSU's team/coordinators?
But feel free to flame on.

Second highest scoring offense in the SEC. Ahead of that scary Malzahn unit, ahead of Weiss' unit, ahead of Richt's offense, etc...
