How do these things actually work

Has Woodward been interviewing candidates in person? I heard Woodward was meeting with a tall guy at the club last week. Could it be our next coach?
Do interviews only happen via phone at the moment? Does Woodward and the coach meet in discrete places so no one in public sees them?
Curious as to how the process actually would and at what point is it a secret meeting.

I can't find his listed height, but Lincoln Riley isn't short. In pictures, he appears to be taller than Spencer Rattler and Baker Mayfield.

1. There’s no coach that’s coming to meet with Woodward in person in the middle of their season. (Except MAYBE Napier since it’s a 45 minute drive amd could be done discreetly).

Yep. Everything is done through back channels. AD calls the agent, agent asks the coach if he'll listen.
IF they agree to listen, many times they will do a Zoom and if they want to move further they will schedule a meet up somewhere VERY under wrap.
Many times its done at the airport hotels. AD/school will rent a room and do the interview there. Private planes are used to limit exposure.
