And you think a good recruit will want to go to Ole Miss just because of Frank? Does not matter if Frank goes there are not. Nobody wants to go to Ole Miss when they so bad. Recruits would be better off going to LA Tech or USM. At least they get to go to a bowl game.
Yeah.....because he certainly didn't recruit worth a shite when he was here under Orgeron. Nutt just must have been that great of a coach to put 10+ people into the draft recruited by Wilson & Co.

He recurited so good everyone from that staff was fired.
Give it up Ole Miss fans. If you get to 6-6 it will be good foe yall.

I'd comment on your extreme level of stupidity, but this one sentence alone describes to everyone that your mind is about as deep as a Jell-o pudding cup.

So Big ED was not fired? How many games did they win?

I guess I need to clarify. Ole Miss really does not matter in football. It does not matter who is coaching or recruiting. They may win a few games each year but what top level players are going to want to attend the bottom dweller of the SEC? Good luck with Frank and we will see yall next year in Baton Rouge. Hopefully we will not have to take a knee with 5 minutes to go in that one.

Frank Wilson pulled some pretty good talent out of LA to Ole Miss from 05-07. He even had Joe McKnight looking at OM. I doubt Miles would not try to keep him with a big raise, however. Recruiting has never been better and that's due to FW. LSU will pay over 1mil if they have to.

....Hey....remember when we beat you in 2008-09?
Yeah, those were largely Frank Wilson recruits that beat you. A lot of them are playing on Sundays and Mondays now.

Having "SEC OC" on your resume looks pretty good even if you really aren't.
See: Markuson's Co-OC title in 2010. He did nothing OC worthy then but we gave him that title.
There are two things we have going for us to keep him
1. we will most likely match what yall are willing to pay for an OC.
2. we have several former coordinators and head coaches on staff who went into a bad situation and could not perform quick enough therefore they have never risen to that level again. All he has to do is talk ron cooper and kragthorpe who can tell him dont take a job just to get the title. Or hell just look at his predecesor larry porter. I think he knows that Ole Miss is in a mess right now that will take a little while to turn around especially with the west as tough as it is. The question is is he willing to wait for a better situation.
Id hate to lose him but you cant really blame him too much if hes getting an OC in the SEC

Exactly what a rational poster should say. Will he come back to OM? I have no idea, but to think that there is no way he would if he were offered the OC position is retarded, much like some of the previous posts from other posters I've read in this thread

Unless you promote him to OC, you won't be able to justify offering him such a salary
Wrong. LSU was prepared to pay Orgeron more than Chavis to be D-Line coach and Recruiting Coord a few years ago. Thank God that fell through and he and the rest of the circus went to UT, but the situation demonstrates that LSU WILL offer money regardless of the title on the business card. If they want to keep Wilson badly enough, they will pay more than Ole Miss without a promotion.
