Houston source says Tom Herman has multiple offers. Texas hasn't expressed same interest. If UT doesn't act soon, Herman expected to move on

He's a former Yahoo Sports writer. He covers UT for OrangeBloods.com and Rivals.com.

Take it FWIW

Sounds like Herman's agent is trying to get Texas to pony up the cash

Even if true I like how he is waiting on Texas. He will be the coach there unless they pull Saban or some insane stud that nobody thinks could happen.

I know youre just posting what you saw but I cant believe this. Texas will not fire Strong without a homerun lined up.

Anyone know what the rumored "red flag" is with Herman?

They had no plan when Brown was fired.

I heard he's got a DWI on his record. Sounds petty to me TBH. Not condoning it but it seems like UT'ers threw it out to scare LSU.

I can't understand why people are throwing out Baylor as possible destination for him. Who in their right mind would want to go there?

Either Texas has effectively killed the deal with their "he drinks" leak, or I don't know how the game is played.

So Texas won't hire a coach that supposedly has a DWI on his record, but will keep around a baseball coach that got one while employed. Sounds reasonable.

Baylor like TCU is very attractive in a few ways. Both can win a national championship in a very conference and they would have a lot more security there than anywhere.
