Based on? As a grown arse man, I would hope Herman speaks for himself. And I would think that unless he has specifically told Alleva no, or Jimbo was offered first and accepted, that Herman is still in play.

I will add that its funny that the LSU admins seemed to give up on Herman early, just blowing him off saying he was going to Texas. But this was weeks ago, when it still looked like Strong could and should have been able to save his job. They were favored in almost every remaining game at that point and looked like a 7 or 8 win season was possible.
I will say again, they either are confident they have Jimbo and never looked any further, or have a Herman deal worked out very secretly behind closed doors..... or they are totally incompetent and possibly getting played by Sexton again.
Now all this talk of making a hire as early as the end of the week makes me think its one of the first 2. I hope im not giving them too much credit.

There is no way anyone with ACTUAL knowledge is posting information on a public message board. It is that simple.
He may know a booster, who has spoken to other boosters whom have a preference or basic level insight (Face it Jimbo/Herman is not a secret. Everyone in the world knows we are targeting them) but that is it.
