It’s reported that his 54 million dollars is to be paid out monthly through 2031. If he gets another head coaching job or media job it affects the payout amount.

Do they offer him 25 million max, and then just welcome him to fight it out in court? Seems it would quickly cost him more chasing than what it’s worth.

1. He could get it as a lump sum instead of in payments until 2031.

Right. A fat $25mm check and LSU waives the mitigation clause. It’s not a bad deal for Kelly at all.
