I think the guy is kicking arse and proving his worth.

Since DS has made this about guys who have won at elite programs, which narrows the search greatly and eliminates Herman, who are you suggesting we hire?

Hes doing well currently so far. I expect us to win the next 2 games. If you can afford to let him coach the bowl game I think you allow that and see how he does.

Jimbo is the best choice

Having a bad year this year...I think the opportunity to get him is gone. Also how much would it cost to get him?

I could careless how much it would cost to get him. I'm not paying the buyout. What coach hasn't had a bad year before?

fact is thet CEO has shown success in the SEC

went through each opponent with success and played Bama toe to toe until the 4th

I can't blame the lack of a top level QB on O

we beat Gators and aTm we will be in solid 2nd place in the SEC

Win the Sugar and he will have proven he can handle the job and he is a known top tier recruiter - in fact he will be considered with Nick and Urban as one of the Top head coach recruiters in the country

I guess I am just stupid for pulling for CEO who happens to be from Louisiana

I think when they fired Les two games into the season they were prepared to hire a coach for big money. You dont give a guy another season and then fire him two games into it to go with the cheap option

I am rooting for him b/c I know this would be his ultimate job...meaning no one else could hire him away. Sure Jimbo would probably be here for life also but Herman would use us to get his ultimate job.

I dont really see anybody using LSU as a stepping stone to another college job. Not sure what Herman's goals are in regards to NFL.

Not to mention, the key attribute that people like about him is his recruiting ability.

However, Cutcliffe, Nutt, and Freeze have all avg'd better classes than O did while at OM. Thats before and after. Everytime i've posted this, it goes completely ignored. I assume the same will happen this time.

Why do you care about this? Are you paying the salary?

Going cheap does not get your NC's. Throw the bank at the best coach reasonably available.

So Nutt did better with O's recruits than O did, got it.

I'm just stating facts. The other guys recruiting better classes.
