How can we trust you? There has been a lot of bullshite posted here

I don't know. A good coordinator knows what it takes to properly implement his system. If he thinks he needs a coach or two that understands the ins and outs of the offense, it's a reasonable request.

Just like the search for a head coach
One of the main reasons op is believable.

Most of us up here dont expect Coach Orgeron to make it to 2019. Not with how the boosters are reacting. Much like you all. Defeated and depressed.
Because LSU basically didn’t fire Les Miles. We still have a stubborn MFer running the offense.

Les could of been here as long as he wanted had he stayed out of the offense. Much like the dumber version we have now

hire Miles as AD
Not to hijack, but why do people say this? The best attribute he had was relating to the recruits and players. His worst trait was unwavering loyalty to staff--regardless of performance and (ultimately) threats of his job. This is exactly what we would NOT want in an AD. What am I missing?

We're hiring Ensminger so the big takeaway that agrees with the OP is that no real search happened. Just Steve who he wanted all along and a couple of candidates who were never going to happen.

Exactly. I want him gone too but if Alleva isn't shown the door 1st it won't matter.

Anyone with a working brain could see this shite show coming a mile away when they decided to even consider orgeron a candidate.
Not me. I understood Orgeron's limitations.
But, I had no idea he would make these very big, very obvious mistakes.

The beauty of having a sense of self is that you dont have to believe everything you hear.
As for the bullshite, I know. Ive seem some pretty random, atrocious info passed around on this board. Part of the reason I made this. To dispel those. Its attention seeking, nothing more.
We had many people last year break herman to LSU prematurely to ESPN. These things happen and stopping them isnt really possible. The Jimbo rumors were largely false as well. We did have a thing going on, but that situation was ridiculousy lock and key. No poster here, not even me, would have known about Jimbo that year.
The exact opposite of the Orgeron hire. That was out there weeks before the actual hire because nobody was worried about fan reaction. He was well accepted, and the talks with Jimbo were failing. I think alleva knew they would. He just wanted to say he went after Jimbo.

And to top it all off, next year's Louisiana recruiting class is stellar and we're going to be in the process of shite canning our "head coach" when the season is over.
Posted on 1/8/18 at 10:29 pm to SeasonOfSam
I’m not saying it would be the best hire. I just want it so Miles can be the one to can O. I was in favor of LSU moving on from Miles when I didn’t know O would be his replacement.

I don't know you but I believe every single thing you wrote in the OP

So you're saying Aranda actually does have head coach aspirations? An opinion held by a lot of Orgeron loyalists on this board is that he's not interested in being a HC.
Aranda could walk in and demand the job today. It's probably what is needed. If he wants to lead the program, he needs to take control and responsibility for what's best for the program.
With Alleva and above not willing to do it, he's the only one.

Miles should have been fired waaaay back when lsufoosball said so. If that happened, in like 2009 we wouodnt be in this predicament.

Agreed. Miles as AD is a terrible idea.
Just give him some kind of PR role.
