Alabama, A&M, TCU, now hoping that he might get to choose between Texas State and New Mexico.

I certainly don't feel sorry for the weasel, though.

At one point in his career he was an OC so i've been mildly surprised that his name hasn't been linked to any jobs in that capacity. I'm not thinking LSU, just one of those "get yourself back in game" type jobs. You know....like Mike Leach is probably gonna have to do.

He also worked at Texas State, it just wasn't called that then.

Pretty obvious Gary Patterson is what made him.

Reminds me of Dennis Erickson when he came back to coach for Idaho. He stayed there for one year before bolting to Arizona State.

You're 0 for 2. I wasn't listing the programs in chronological order to begin with, and I was being sarcastic the second time.

I tried to tell all my Bama acquaintances that Dennis was way overrated and hiring him would be a major mistake.

Dude's biggest success was one season at TCU, aided by one of the greatest RBs of all time. And even that year he lost to San Jose State.
