Look up my post from last night. SW will def make LR tell him no. Heard could go as high as 12 million a year. Not saying that’s how much it will take.

TBL has been saying that timing is everything in this hire. I have a strange feeling, all things considered (assuming that LR is the white wale), that indicates Riley has been known to be who we wanted as our #1 and why Woodward got a blank check to make it happen.
If timing is everything, we should be cheering like hell for OU to not make the playoffs and this could be relatively quick after the A&M game. If they make the playoff, things could get a bit murky.

I don't know if this poster is full of shite but I have been hearing this for two weeks. I only troll Aggies and I don't like attention. Genuinely believe this source has heard from Woodward himself or someone very close.

If Riley wants to come, timing is irrelevant. You don’t pass on a coach of his caliber to salvage a single early recruiting period, especially with free agency aka transfer portal in full swing.
