It’s neither Kiffin or Dillingham. We already have our coach and it will be announced after the regular season is over

I would love to see Kiffin is Baton Rouge but 14 mil a year is stupid.
Who cares It’s not your money. That’s the boosters problem.

So much for the cheaper contract ideas everyone wanted.
I figured most people knew the rhetoric of cheaper contracts was lip service by the Gov trying to appease the plebes.
Anyone with an elementary level understanding of supply and demand should understand that as long as two guys are selling hope to multiple rabid desperate fanbases who are bidding against each other while simultaneously creating fear of loss to other rabid fanbases trying to hold on to their coach understands that the cost of a perceived savior will continue to sky rocket.
The University Presidents are on board with this model b/c history has shown there is direct correlation to student enrollment and donor givings when the football team is successful!

Look at Ole Miss high school recruiting Vs LSU. LSU is in the top 10 ever year and Ole Miss has not been in the top 10 since freeze.
Lane knows he can finally get big-time talent at LSU if he takes the job.

Dude please tell your sources we don't want Heupel. Give us Kiffin.
Posted on 11/2/25 at 7:59 pm to FireGoodell
Apparently they are saying Heupel. Very annoyed if it's not Kiff.

So you made an alter in October of this year just to post coaching rumors
Posted on 11/2/25 at 8:08 pm to The_Whispers
But… but… HurricaneCamille said we were done with Kiffin haha

Obviously things are gonna be kept very discrete if he were to accept due to Ole Miss season.
So I’m gonna blast it on the biggest LSU message board on the internet.

Maybe Pate’s Jurassic park meme was about Huepel stepping off the plane in BTR.

lets also remember that until something is signed, there is no such thing as a sure thing.
Herman has said he had an agreement but Texas came in at the last second and he went there. Insiders would have said we have Herman and it is a done deal and they would have been correct. But then the next day everyone would think they are a fool.
Fact is, we have actual insiders and wanna be insiders all putting information out, who knows whats true and fake. But also, nothing is done until it is signed.

14 mil is a stupid money to hire a college coach. I would spend 4 mil for an up and coming coach like Alex Golesh with added incentives for winning and spend extra money on NIL. LSU didn't learn a lesson with big name, expensive coach BK.
