Yeah, saying Louisiana is not relevant to recruiting makes zero sense to me.

No offense or disrespect to you guys because I totally understand the back-and-forth, especially in the context of Kiffin, but IMO the Florida vs LSU conversation is simply going around in circles as Florida and LSU are both great jobs and both great brands

My wife is a UF grad, so I'm pretty plugged in. I think UF and LSU are pretty damn neck and neck, from a non-homer standpoint. And the governor certainly isn't making things easier on us at this point. It'll be interesting seeing how it plays out.

Ole Miss will definitely match or exceed the highest offer to Kiffin

Totally agree. If you read my post history, I actually have said I think LSU has UF by a little bit because Les and O won national championships. BUt I definitely think they are both in the top tier of jobs. Just sucks we have both had to sync up for the last two hiring cycles now.

They’re closer than people on this board like to think, but LSU clearly still has the edge. UF has had 4 straight dud hires, and had to compete with FSU and Miami for in-state talent.

My wife's friends were so happy when they finally fired Napier and then a week later, we dropped Kelly. They went straight back to depression mode

I’ll continue to play along…. Who is going to be President? And does that decision have any affect on Saban?

Or is the Prez and Saban both already done?

Let's just all agree that we have several weeks for the bid process to work it's way out with all schools thinking of a backup plan. Kiffen isn't signing anything until his season is over so everyone can continue to outbid each other. He is in a win/win situation. Even if he is staying at Ole Miss, he is smart and going to let them coninute to outbid each other.

Wouldn’t be surprised at all. Ridiculous. CFB will surpass NFL money within 5 years.

Divide Florida’s 30 by Miami, FSU & UF, then assume UGA, Bama, LSU, Auburn, Tennessee, Ohio St, Michigan, USC, Texas could pull at least 3-5 of Florida’s best HS players.

Now would you rather have Florida or Louisiana as your recruiting stomping ground.

Not only does LA have more NFL players per capita but also those players average making more $ in the NFL.

Sexton and some other agents are about to game LSU.. Sexton is not happy with Landry's words and actions and it will cost :LSU.

Sexton can either make an example of LSU or let momentum build to curb his client's contracts.

Sexton is a smart businessman and has too many connections at LSU to give a frick about Landry. He knows Landry was just blowing smoke.
Sexton works for his clients.
