Anyone who dismisses how well staff members fit together needs to turn back the clock to 2017 and think about the Matt Canada hire, which looked like a home run on paper, but obviously went very wrong. It’s not you have to be an egotistical idiot like O for this to happen, either. Head coaches and coordinators butt heads all the time.
Having some people who are very familiar with each other on this staff day one helps to provide some stability to build on.

Thank you for the link. Please explain to me where in that article it says he tried to hire Monken? It says they had discussions. Denbrock was most likely the #1 target from the beginning considering their relationship.

Come on dude Denbrock has running the offense for a team that went 22-2 the last two seasons (both losses to Georgia and Bama). They scored 69 touchdowns I mention this because Cinn. missed out on a lot of points because they had one of the worst kicking game this season.

The lsu writers still feel confident he will be announced soon. They are basically saying he was hired. Just waiting on official announcement.

Only hire i don't really like is cooks. Think he could've done better there.
