Mentioned he was on the initial list but is not very high on the current list.
Also mentioned that next week will be the last full week of tSearch…barring the candidate playing in a conference title game

SW isn't going to waste his political capital on a hire like BOB. I know this...BOB would be better than most here think but SW has to hire someone that doesn't stain his legacy if it goes south. If he had to fire Riley in 4 yrs, he would get credit for bringing in what appeared to be a home run and then to have the guts to end it when it appears broken beyond repair. He would have a major PR problem on his hands with a failed BOB tenure. He ain't doin' that!

Alabama's offense is ranked 10th in total yards per game, 3rd in scoring offense, 1st in 3rd down conversion rate.
Not ideal, but not the worst hire you could make.
