It's like a union in my profession. The union will expose every problem within a department without consequences. Anyone in charge sees this to be a problem. No one ever wants an organized group putting pressure on them or questioning their management.
LSU sees it as a problem because the fans group together and point out obvious problems and questioning the leadership. The fans control the amount of money that flows through the department. LSU never wants a place for fans to go where they can collectively criticize LSU's decisions.
Another example : I've been a member of Endymion for 11 years. For the last 7 years they have had a forum on our member internet site. Well eventually the members were using it as a platform to discuss the problems within the krewe. What happened next? Endymion shut it down.
LSU can't shut down TD. So in the end it's a problem. And for all the reasons stated above I love this site. I'm so happy we have this together. Might be the union blood coming out in me

Also coach o would have never even been hired if not for mentioning Kiffin as an option for OC. Alleva ate that up when most people knew that was an extreme long shot.

Seriously, how people think the main LSU themed message board, which is full of fake insiders making shite up as they go, some of which gets repeated in more mainstream media, would even be a blip for LSU is beyond me. Especially since only a few million people visit the site on a monthly basis.
