eople make a big deal about the system you run. But I've learned though the years that your system has to marry your talent. One of my proudest seasons is when we went 12-0 in my first year at Ohio State in 2012. Philosophically, we wanted to be balanced. But we couldn't throw the ball. We had a good line, a beast at tailback in Carlos Hyde and a freak at quarterback in Braxton Miller. It was one of my proudest achievements in coaching. We didn't try to fit a square peg in a round hole.
Sounds like the anti-Miles. We need to make this happen!

I still think Chip Kelly should be the #1 target, but Tom Herman would be a fantastic hire.
Those two should be considered #1a and #1b, IMO.

Wow, that was a well-structured, well-spoken statement. Not used to that from a HC. Love the paragraph about the soccer moms and not keeping score. Life isn't fair and you had better learn to keep score. Dude would be a beast here.

Gives a little insight into Urban, who I consider the best in the biz right now. Saban is great too, but his lack of undefeated seasons shows, IMO, he doesn't focus on the details like Urban.

What our vision may be is going to be entirely dependent on the players we have.
