I'll believe it when I see it. I see no way that Gene Chizik would associate himself with Bobby Petrino, let alone in a subservient position.

They coached together in 2002 at Auburn and have remained pretty good friends. During Jetgate, it was rumored that Petrino would have wanted to keep Chizik on the staff if he took over.

Is that the image you have of him? Doubt that one is too prevelant outside of certain circles.
Like the other poster said, he does have a good guy persona, kind of 'aww shucks' like. And he was a good DC. Just a bad HC.
