Not sure if this is one of those things that gains urban legend status, but I know people always throw out that he has some oil and gas leases or something that really sweeten the pot.

He has stated repeatedly he won’t leave the Frogs.
He’s treated like a king in Fort Worth, and that won’t ever change.
TCU doesn't have to disclose salary info (private institution), but many have intimated that his contract is filled with enticements, oil money, mineral rights, etc. from which he’d be a fool to walk away.
