FSU and LSU Records last 2 years

Last year: LSU 9-3* FSU 10-3
this year: LSU 5-3 FSU 6-3
So basically FSU has the same record as LSU the last two years in a weaker conference and heading coaching changes......
Everyone wanted Miles gone b/c the decline was real. Yet Jimbo has back to back 3 loss seasons in a weaker conference? Also, Florida and Miami have not been power houses as of recent so recruiting in Florida should be a cake walk.
I know, he can run an offense and pairing him with Aranda has championship written all over it.... just a little concerned he gets bored/lazy/comfortable too easy. I sure hope the decision makers are doing their homework!!

All 9-3 records are not created equal
LSU was 8-0 last year and finished 9-3
LSU was 8-0 last year and finished 9-3

2 of the 3 FSU loses this year are to Clemson and Louisville. Clemson and Louisville are better than anyone on LSU's schedule aside from Alabama. So while the ACC is historically weaker, it's not weaker at the top this year

FSU outscored 52-9 in the 1st quarter vs power 5 teams this year

And Jimbo losing Pruitt really hurt him. Blame FSU for not paying up to keep him

Not exactly because UF and Miami are far from his only competition in Florida. Every major program recruits there, yet Jimbo still pulls top five classes and highly ranked recruits.

You really don't seem to like Jimbo. Every thread on here you come in and kinda trash him. Who do you think FSU could get that would be better?

I'm just confused at some people thinking he will come in and the offense will take off. It takes time with his offense to click for skill players.
My dream would be Texas keeping strong and getting Herman.

Miles fans used a Fr or So qb as an excuse for miles shite arse records. So with jimbo we just ignore that?

Was it FSU not paying him? Or Pruitt not keeping his pants zipped? But why the he'll didn't he get a better replacement? Don't say it was because of pay. Research what FSU pays its coaches, that theory is false

Oh God, you're absolutely right. Somebody quick try to hire Miles back before ND or Texas scoop him up...

So Alabama(1), Wisconsin (7), Auburn (9), losses are so much worse than losing to Clemson (2), Louisville (6), and North Carolina (17)?
Then look the point margin in their losses and victories along with the strength of schedules.
Now tell me what the facts say! Not saying Jimbo is a terrible option, but damn there are some serious questions I would have in that interview!!

Well I wouldn't go that far..... but I would be asking a lot of questions

Have you watched an LSU offense the last 8 years. Throwing a complete forward pass on a consistent basis would be an improvement. It really is sad with all the NFL talent we have. Took 2 pro bowl receivers, an NFL running back, and a backup NFL quarterback to make it serviceable. Still only scored 17 on Bama and lossed.

I was merely responding to the comment about losing 3 games in a "weaker" conference not comparing schedules. People always talk about the ACC being weaker, but conferences don't play games, teams do and I'd rank Clemson and Louisville over anyone in the SEC aside from Bama.

They lost to Clemson by 3 and UNC by 2 both in the last minutes. The total is skewed by the Louisville game.

They have 2 loses to top 5 teams and 1 to a top 15-20 team.
