This was the biggest disappointment to me, that he wouldn't finish the year. Glad to see, he and this team are tight. Good luck to Frost.

Nebraska is getting a high class coach and should be proud.

Baylor fans certainly remember getting their asses whipped I'm sure.

Honestly, the Big 12 is lucky OU beat TCU b/c they might have had their champ get whipped by the Knights for the second time with a different coach.

Nebraska should get some props for this too. 99% of all schools would tell the new HC to frick off w/the bowl and start recruiting.

Good for him. It's doable. He's got time to spend some on NE's recruiting class for early signing period and finalize the core of his NE staff and then prep for and coach the UCF bowl. Then he and his staff going with him can bolt for NE to finish any additional staffing & close out the recruiting cycle.

He already handed out his first offer — dual threat QB Martinez currently committed to Tennessee

How can they be certain they are in the Peach Bowl?

Not really. And it almost never works. It doesn't matter how close you are to your team, they don't have the same respect for a lame duck. Bad move for Central Florida imo.

Sounds like an emotional decision. We'll see what happens when he's staring down the gun of a 12/20 signing day and a weak first recruiting class.

Respectable thought by Frost, but you're now the HC of Nebraska. That should be his only focus.

As it should be.

I really liked watching that game today. One good one left

I totally agree. It's not good for Nebraska, and it's not good for UCF. It's tough, but he's no longer the coach there and should part ways.

Because it's UCF, and they'll probably never be this good again.

let's be fair, they've made (and won) BCS bowls before

UCF will be fine with Sumlin coming in (heard it hear first) building on what Frost started.

And yall will over pay for sumlins dream situation. Taking credit for others hard work.

It's actually a pretty dumb emotional decision that he will end up regretting. The players will want him gone by the second day of practice and he'll be simultaneously having to game plan and worry about recruiting

I like the move. UCF is still a young program and this was HUGE season for them. Frost should be there at the end.

Different situation. I was glad Jimbo decided not to coach the final game.

It’s not cool to coach a game and your mind is elsewhere and you know you are leaving to get out..

I actually respect Fisher here. Chavis coaching the LSU bowl game when he knew he was leaving and didn’t tell anyone was pure trash.. and was so awkward..

It’s also understandable Frost is leaving to coach his home school..
