Can't blame him... which one of us would say 'no thanks, I'll stay put' if Skip called to ask you to coach the team?

Once Miles is at Michigan the media will say he is a brilliant coach as opposed to the comments they've made about him while at LSU.

A lot would have to change for the words brilliant and Les Miles to be used in the same sentence.

Pretty typical, and I agree.

now THAT's a worthwhile article.

If this guy is really Les's best friend, then there's officially no doubt. He would not let his best friend say these things unless he knew that he was going to be offered the job and accept it.

Yeah, but I don't think it is. I think Miles has too much respect for his players to have signed a contract.

I also think Michigan would give Miles until after the SECG. I'm sure they understand what the situation is.

Misleading headline. The guy says that he "thinks" Les want the job, while the headline says that Les wants the job. Sounds to me like a result-oriented article.

I wouldn't want this guy as a friend. A friend of Les would know that blabbing to the media is not really helping Les out.

Sounds like the only question is whether or not they make the offer to him. If they do, he's out. Remember the jim rome interview when he said "michigan is fundamental to us"

It all fits but, again, don't blame him. We'd all make the same decision...

the same guy was quoted saying the same thing a week ago in a Detoit paper.

loved this question:
quote:

Miles has a block M tattoo and that’s why he can’t wear shorts
