It isn't Herman's fault LSU is too poor to pay market value.

Should I list the coaches he's lost too as well?

He's not a recruiter Texas will win a 1 to 2 more games a year and will still be a clown show.

Here's the difference in programs. Herman goes to Texas and loses 3 games two years straight. He would be considered the new savior. If he came hete and did the same he would be a failure. That's a fact.

Finally someone with a some common sense around here. Herman is not proven... in fact, not close to proven.

Herman has 5 wins over top-25 teams in 2 full seasons.

CEO has 4 wins over top-25 times with 3 full years at Ole Miss and 14 additional games at USC and LSU.

LSU might have dodged a big bullet with this guy.

Oh yeah, it sure feels that way to me.

This thread is going to look so dumb if LSU ends up hiring Herman.

And this year he lost to Ken Niumatololo, Mike Norvel and Chad Morris. He does not deserve 5 MIL or what ever amount he asked for.

Well it's the one time he's ever been handed the keys to a program. And he drove it off a cliff. Sorry, but that's kind of relevant to people who have a brain

Don't forget Houston also lost to SMU this season. SMU!!!

AND had success last year with the previous coach's players. After one year of recruiting on his own Herman took the UH program backwards.
