Are we giving Brady to much credit for 1 year? He had a generational qb and now it appears he is consulting on who to hire as if his blessings will get us another last year.

Was Burrow able to rise above a system that wasn’t really a fit for him in 2018? I mean, he was solid and helped us win games, but let’s be honest. No one saw his 2019 coming. I expected a lot of improvement, but no one could have predicted that. It was Burrow and Brady together that made it happen.

O seemed to be in a very good mood on the radio this morning, a lot of laughing like he knew how the hires were going down. It sounded like the deals would be complete on the OC today and Thursday for the DC from the way the interview was going. Could be wrong but that’s the way I read the interview, and after what I was told yesterday I feel pretty good about our chances landing Freeman

looks like we'll be competing against notre dame and/or auburn and/or texas for freeman. which is how it should be. we want a coordinator everyone would want to have.

Freeman has to be pricing new yachts and vacation homes all over the world. Woodward gave a guy no one (outside of Youngstown, OH) wanted nearly $7 million dollars (total). Just imagine what he's willing to pay for a guy who is actually in-demand by several big programs with deep pockets?

Friday Headline: "LSU hires Freeman to be DC for record setting 3 year $200 million dollar contract!"

I just have a friend who is close to a big booster and gives me a little info. Only thing he said was what I posted above. He wanted a HC job and apparently interviewed for 1 or 2. The only HC jobs left are Boise and Marshall so I don’t know if those are an option for him and if not it sounds like we have the inside track for him. Apparently buyouts and whatnot have been discussed.

I think LSU feels good about where they are. Just feels like if Freeman is on a plane here Thursday for a meeting then we will land him.

Why would he say this on the radio?

Agree unless they have an agreement in principle.

If not, it’s another poorly thought comment along with light years ahead, sore body, I didn’t know Brosette was starting, silent verbals, etc. Unfortunately, O isn’t smart.

Dave was pretty intense in practices. I like the sense of calm he had on the sidelines in such big games

Wow, our fanbase is shitty. He didn’t mention anyone by name. He said our top offensive candidates are interviewing today and our top defensive candidate is interviewing Thursday.

He actually said two of our top offensive candidates; not top offensive candidates. He did say top defensive candidate. Coaches interview and turn down jobs all the time. While there is a good chance, none of this is certain.

How many guys are we interviewing those days? If it's only Peetz today and only Freeman on Thursday, then he pretty much did name names.

Buy my point is, why's he blabbing about this on the radio? Hopefully he lands these guys, but he'll look bad if he doesn't after publicly saying who his first choices were.

Bottom line is there's almost no upside and pretty good downside by making those statements.

You and I heard the same thing, either a few of these pricks who disagree are not too bright or they’re just wanting to be a pain to the rest of us.

If you believe O during his interview on 104.5 this morning, it’s going to be Burrow and Brady again who rwill be responsible for bringing another title to BR with the way they are recruiting people for LSU.
