He'd be a much better hire than Kermit

frick all these lame "better than Johnny Jones" hires. Almost any basketball coach at the college level would be a better hire than JJ. We want a good to great hire. Anything less and Alleva deserves to get punched in the balls.

frick yes. Hire him.

No idea why he took that Bulls job. Roster made no sense for him and it just got worse this offseason.

Does he want to come back to college...and would he come to LSU? I'd think he would have better options.

That being said, if Alleva was worth a damn, he'd be on the phone with him right now. But Alleva isn't worth a damn, so I know we have no shot at him.

Hoiberg would definitely use Alleva for a higher pay day at a better program.

I can't believe he left ISU to begin with. He's the Mayor.

Go get Tim Floyd from UTEP. He could resurrect both his career and our program. Solid ball coach competing in CUSA w/nothing at UTEP. NBA bonafides. Seems a perfect fit for LSU, at this juncture.

Sure. I would take him or George Karl in a heartbeat. Hell, Larry Brown...

Johnny gets lifetime contract if those are the options.

Any of those 3 would coach circles around "johnny"...for the next 10 yrs. And for "johnny money". At this level, johnny's a bench coach, at best. This is ridiculous.

Hoiberg would be a home run hire. He built Iowa fricking State into a powerhouse. Hes perfect for LSU.

The Floyd dream belongs in the 90's.
Karl is basically killing himself in basketball circles.
Larry Brown's LSU tenure can just be stricken the record in his introductory press conference to save everyone time.
