You can think anything you want, but only a clown looks at the resumes as they stand now and doesn't see downgrade.
Anybody with a pulse could have won the games Miles did.
And only a clown could manage to piss away the games that he did.
Put that on the frickin resume.

The question should be will Ed have a equal or better record than Miles next Gig.
Miles started at LSU with Sabans program and didn't have to face Saban for a couple years.
Interesting that you try to downgrade Miles accomplishments at lsu by attributing it to Saban.
I guess any success O has at lsu means it was due to miles' talent, right?
Let's keep it consistent.

Most successful run in school history could have been done by anyone?
Please continue. Your retard opinions are entertaining

irrelevant.
The relevance is we are comparing Miles vs O as an upgrade or downgrade in this thread. Pretty sure Mr. Magoo lucking his way into a top program is going to produce a better resume in 12 years than being at OM or another bad program during that time. Because of this situation, it could be argued that resumes are not as relevant as they normally would be.
Another poster just pointed out that we should compare Miles' resume at his next HC job (if he can get one) vs O's time at LSU.
I guess the former pumpers going nega/anti-O makes sense in that they are trying to say we made a big mistake by firing Miles

Miles will never coach again. He is a moron.

Then, tell us how LSU, from 2005 to 2015, won more overall games than any other SEC school.
Your childish hatred of Les is making you sound retarded, but don't let me stop you. It's fricking funny shite.

Alleva fricked up firing Miles and hiring Ed O. The dumbest shite I have ever heard.
Posted on 12/8/16 at 8:41 pm to cbtullis
I'll take coach o over the 2016 version of miles.

There was actually some conjecture that he got mistakenly put on the HC fast track somewhere along the line. His deficiencies didn't become realized until it was too late.
Les was cut out to be a position coach and no more.
Personally, I think the guy has had a screw loose for quite some time.

Career? I think he'll be more successful in the forseeable future than Miles would've been.

They both suck. Next question.

Where do these idiots come from. Any swinging DI$& would have had Miles record after Saban. I know this because a complete idiot managed to do so. Miles was never a good coach. He was lucky. He was such a fu$&in great coach nobody wants his garbage @ss

Miles was stubborn to a fault.
He's gone, but people sure do love to still make shite up about his time here.

quote:When will you idiots realize that it DID NOT MATTER WHO THE OC WAS??? Miles was the problem with the Offense since 2008. PERIOD.
Les was possibly an offensive coordinator hire away from making the playoffs this year; too bad he couldn't pull the trigger and replace Cam.
Crowton was very good in 2007.
2008, with Perrilloux gone he had to play Lee, then Jefferson. The pick six year made Miles grab back control of the offense.
Studrawa had wide open offenses at Bowling Green under Urban Meyer and his successor. Here, MILES called the shots.
Cameron was well respected. Fired from Baltimore for throwing too much. Here, MILES called the shots.
Miles would literally scrap game plans on the bus to the airport, negating a whole week's practice.
Numerous players say that on 1/9/12 they ran none of what they practiced for a month.
Too bad he didn't pull the trigger on his own stupidity, lack of trust in his players and coaches and their preparation and his insecurity.

Les is the reason it is cold today, frick him and his Michigan weather

For all of you
The reason Miles failed in his last two years is because of his own stubbornness or lack of understanding about the changes in the offensive game or probably both.
Miles could not make the adjustment. And we can stop right there.
To be a great coach and consistent winner you have to make adjustments. It doesn't matter if Miles had hired the biggest spread offensive coordinator in the country. He still would've run the ball against 10 man fronts.
End of story. MoveOn.

Do you honestly believe that Ed Orgeron is going to have a more successful coaching career at LSU?
Overall? No
But I do think he will be better than the last few years.

If O just matches Miles' accomplishments he will be considered the greatest LSU coach of all time. That is how stupid our fanbase is.

More successful than recent yes les unwilling to change. Nobody argues that lsu has had as much talent as anybody except possibly Alabama test over the last 3 years les is 10-8 in sec play thank god for the Kentucky and South Carolina games.
