Fat Phil is looking for a puppet that he can manipulate the strings.

Huh? If you are talking about negative comments about Venables then you aren't going back far enough in the forum. There is a reason that Venables is such a conflicting figure on our board and it really doesn't have much to do with Venables himself.

This may come as a shock, but I don't read the arkansas board. That's why I asked what I was missing. Venables would be a huge hire for arkansas.

a lot of people are taking unprovens over miles lately.
Miles is a proven idiot. Certainly better to take someone who is an unproven idiot.

Is Tucker the first candidate to interview twice? I believe he might be.

Wow, this is coming outta nowhere. I just can't believe Fulmer would take Tucker over a proven HC like Miles.

I wouldn't put it past Fulmer to be interviewing Tucker to try to distract from UGA's playoff preparation. Can't believe he isn't interviewing Pruitt too.

I’m so fricking over all of this. At this point I’d suck Chris Petersen’s dick to be our head coach.

Les was likely never an actual choice. He would be coaching for free.
You lack even a basic understanding of coaching contracts. Les can't coach for free or for less than a reasonable wage and still force LSU to pay his contract.

The way you worded it could also come off as wondering why there was any negativity that is posted on our board, as if you took a look. That is why I said that. I didn't just assume you look at the Arky board every day.

It might not be sexy, but can you argue with the results on the field, this year? Kirby said over and over that it was Mel's defense.

Are you high? It was clearly a figure of speech. Miles is fulfilling his obligation to seek employment, nothing more.

Dang. He’s got a nice resume. He kinda looks like a badass too.
I bet he’d be a pretty decent hire. He’d probably give UGA and UF some fits in the future if he gets it

these days most major programs want a proven HC. however, tejas hired a less than proven guy and Georgia hired a coordinator 2 years ago. there are other examples of this being a success.

the notion that the only path to success is to hire a top guy that is proven is false. yea, it works sometimes but it doesn't sometimes;only time will tell.

So UT rejected 2-3 solid attempted hires by Currie, fired him, and now can't even land a promising up and comer like Pruitt or Venables.

This has been a shite-tastic display.

power play by fat phil to appear to be the savior but he's seeming to be just as bad....possibly worse since he may be seeking a puppet
