How does Oregon feel about Taggart? Is Uncle Phil going to allow him to leave so quickly or do they not care?

I'd go to Tennessee 9 times out of 10 over A&M if I was Fisher.

On the 10th time you would be accused of molesting children and riots would happen on campus IMO FWIW

Wish people would stop looking at his w-l record.

It's a lazy argument for people that use that against him

An update from their board (Pretty sure they meant Nov 29, because I am almost certain it's from this morning):

Wednesday, Nov. 28 @ 10:00 a.m.

Good morning. Time for some coffee and nuggets.

Since last night, it's definitely shifted towards Fisher leaving for Texas A&M again. Heard from a couple sources that weren't sure before but are now convinced that Fisher will coach his last game Saturday. And independent source to Fisher confirmed the reason for the delay is because he's forced to wait for the contract situation in Texas to play out. More importantly, I was told that some of the family hangups that may have been an issue, have now been resolved (sounds like A&M is making some accommodations to help with this).

Also, signs inside the coaching offices point towards Fisher departing. Been told that recruiting meetings are virtually nonexistent and very little is being done on that front.

With a prevailing feeling that Fisher will be moving on, I suspect the administration will be moving forward with a coaching search. Even if Fisher reverses course and this works itself out, it certainly can't hurt to be prepared. Along those lines, look for us to release a coaching Hot Board in a day or two. Stay tuned....

Final Note: Been hearing there's a decent chance five-star QB Justin Fields would visit FSU should Willie Taggart get the job.

Well, the coaches that turned down UT seem to disagree with you...

Tennessee is a solid brand name with some serious problems at this juncture...

It's not an easy job...

A&M with all that instate talent and money everywhere, a HC can do a lot with that...

simply put, it's easier to build a program at A&M than UT...

that's a fact!

and yes, I realize the SEC W is tougher to win....

Disagree. Tennessee is in the easier division but harder to recruit out of. A&M has more talent in Texas as well as better resources. Fanbase is cringe city and full of clowns, but likely a better place to coach. Only caveat is that Texas HS football is clearly pretty soft and there is a cultural deficiency in the state that could take some time to be rectified.

A&M vs Tennessee isn't even a debate

A&M is a top 5/8 job. Tennessee is a top 15/20.

I think that it is somewhat debatable. Tennessee is a prestigious program, more prestigious than A&M historically. A&M has the better facilities, recruiting base, athletic department, and momentum. I think from a W-L perspective Tennessee is an easier place to succeed. SEC East vs SEC West and the great recruiting ground A&M has is highly contested now. If UT makes any noise, the job gets much more difficult too. That being said, I would choose A&M I were him and posed that question.
