Last formal communication between Lane and Florida (edit: sorry had OM there) was the widely reported Thursday meeting between Sexton and Florida's AD. It's been basically crickets since then.
He used the Florida meeting to sweeten the pot a bit with LSU, which probably wasn't necessary - after the game on Saturday, boosters were lining up with their wallets. It pretty much sealed the deal.
