It’s not like Sonny Dykes was a hot name. He had been fired by Cal just a few years earlier.

Based on his career this is a miracle season he won't reproduce.

He was good at SMU but nothing special. I thought it was a reach for TCU to go get him. He’s very likable and seems like a good guy to work with/play for

Yup. Lots of coaches would be winning this year given the program Patterson left behind.

Let’s see what he does with his own players.

Yes, because one season proves everything.

Florida made the better hire for them and I think time will prove this.

I really like him, but I think this season was lightning in a bottle like Baylor last year

They lose a TON and it wouldn’t surprise me if they were 8-4 next year

Another post about Florida on the CC board by you. Almost a daily occurrence.

It’s super weird. The two programs aren’t even in the same stratosphere right now yet he’s obsessed. Would be like Bama posting daily about Arkansas.

Mike Norvell was getting torched on this board in the pre-season.

They won 10 games.

Last night, a guy on my FB feed was calling for Stet to be benched and Monken to be fired.

People can be such idiots.

It's been one season. Florida was in a much tougher spot than TCU.

You are always hating on Baylor. I give you credit for consistency. Two Baylor coaches have been to sugar bowls since Briles, but you’ve predicted doom the whole way.

Lots of coaches except Patterson, who was fired for not winning?

Makes sense.

He was OK at Cal but wasn't anything special. He found his niche at SMU and TCU but perhaps those are better suited for him anyway.

What a dumb statement. Gary Patterson's last 4 years at TCU

5-7
6-4
5-7
7-6

Quite the program he inherited!!

Harsin never got his wish with having his own players on the field.
