Fire your hire 12 months later and costs the company 1.7 Million dollars

This doesn't happen in the real world does it?
But some folks seem to think O's hands are tied?
If the administration is willing to play along and payout the 1.7, seems to me, they will play along to get the right guy this time around. They just ponied up to keep Aranda, I think they understand the offense is equally important to solidify.
Because O is being paid 3.5, versus 7 for Jimbo or 6 for Herman, I think the brass probably feels they are playing with house money to get the staff right.
The real stickler here is if O really prefers SE over anyone else he could probably make the highest paid OC in the country.
Let that sink in
This is LSU, who can pay some else not named Canada 1.5 Million per and O prefers his TE coach?
I just can't draw a line to connect these dots, it makes zero sense...
which is why it will happen
With the below average QB play the last decade and the Jimbo fiasco 2 years in a row has scorned us so badly, as a fan-base I think many of expect to be disappointed....
I wish we were more excited with anticipation... that's how it should be ..but too many people are trying to prepare us for SE.

which world is it pal?
This is a university, not a business...
yet we're paying coaches 13 million not to coach...
and people still have jobs?
I am just saying how ludicrous it is to fire Canada...not based on performance but for some other reason?
who knows all the facts, I surely do not
but if SE is the OC, then LSU fans will probably make ole Steve retire early....
a former player doesn't want to deal with the boo birds
the leash is short my friend...
Offense is why Les Miles was fired...
that firing costs us 9 MILLION
This is the real world, at some point, things have to make sense ...the school is broke

But the fly in that ointment is, if you truly get great coordinators, then they are everyones target each year
Orgeron cant survive a rotating staff like that

well, wasn't Canada a pretty good OC?
we actually fired him....no one stole him...after all, he was the highest paid with 3 year contract and big buy out
so, your theory is a little off base
Aranda was kept....now it will hard even for the NFL to lure him away at 2.5 per

Let this sink in:
Matt Canada was the highest paid OC in the nation at $1.5 million per year in 2017.
LSU’s offense was 54th in the nation in total yards per game. LSU’s passing offense was 84th in the nation. LSU’s rushing offense was 29th in the nation. LSU’s scoring offense was
76th has n the nation.
Was it worth it? What would you have said had this been Cam Cameron’s offense? Did Matt Canada earn his salary in 2017?

This is where I'm at man. If it was for performance then whatever. This is a direct problem with O. I'm sure Canada is at fault to some extent, but what grown arse men can't get along well enough to coach a football team for 1.5m and 3.5m
Its lala land.

It's really fricking money so therefore it's real.
O said the offense didn't live up to his standard and that's the reason he had to go. Are we really supposed to believe that?

Not if they ran Canada off for Steve E to be OC.
Got damn twilight zone shite.

Why this was a bad idea to begin with.

The way this organization wastes money I can't imagine being a big TAF supporter.
It's asinine.

Yeah, we’ll want him as HC when they fire O after this “promote the fricking TE coach to OC” shite blows up in his face.
