Cincinnati we’ll never make the play-offs, even with a
perfect record. There will not be any job openings at Ohio State or Michigan anytime soon. What’s wrong with that dude? He can have the keys to the Ferrari?

Brian Kelly stayed an extra 2 years after he became a hot name. It's easier to be the big fish in your small pond than risk failing.

It's not always about championships, money or success.

If he is happy, financially stable and location. He may never leave. His hometown is in Ohio.

But if he wanted all of what I mentioned you are correct..

So what's your panic date if you still don't have a coach?

Dec 1?

I can somewhat agree with the money part, but when it comes to sports, I don’t think I can agree with you on championships. It’s crazy to think anyone in a sports related field would agree with you. Why do it if you don’t want to be the best? Also, when hiring said coach, I’d have realistic expectations(ULM), but if I’m paying you millions, you better be pushing for the top.

Well then why the hell would we want him at LSU?

I don't want a happy coach. I want a miserable, obsessed with his job, singularly focused coach. Well adjusted, balanced types get complacent.

Constantly amused by nobody's who make their business to criticize other people, especially when it doesn't fit their narrow minded narrative.

Fickell doesn't care what a nobody from Pineville thinks..

The playoffs will expand. When they do, if he stays at UC, he’ll have a lot of chances to make it.

His biggest problem IMO? He hasn’t developed and/or recruited the QB position. Ridder has been there forever and he was recruited by Tommy T.

This feels like the time to jump ship. If not, it feels like Cincy will need to find a portal QB.

You saying this is exactly why he’s probably the LSU hire. Everyone else is a smokescreen.
