There's no dumpster fire. The NCAA does not punish based on civil lawsuits. There has to be NCAA cheating and law enforcement has to get involved.

dumpster fire w/ regards to football stuff. their 2020 recruiting class is 10th in the big 10 (they were beaten by purdue and maryland). they really have no playmakers nor QB on the roster who is inspiring

At this point, is cincy a step down from MSU? I really don't think so.
fickell should stay at cincy one more year, do well, then wait for a really big school to nab him.
MSU is arguably in their worst shape since the john l smith era.
They will be extremely lucky to make a bowl next year, looking at that roster.

Hey dumb twit, I NEVER SAID MSU was an inferior school. Obviously it is a bigger gig than cincy IN THEORY AND ON PAPER.
But it is obviously untrue looking solely at the last 2 years. Cincy has been the better team.
Fickell has a chance to have another great year at cincy and then get a YUGE job offer.
MSU not only seems to be on a decline, but there are some nasty skeletons currently in the closet that a new coach won't want to deal with.

This is turning into a major disaster, the timing and circumstances with Dantonio stepping down were obviously not handled well when they should’ve had a plan in place for at least 12 months when things went sideways last year.

Cincinnati is in great shape...i believe Fickell just won 11 games with a freshman QB who is only going to get better. He is from Ohio, knows how to recruit in state talent and is building Cincinnati into an AAC power. Why leave for Sparty right now? Plus, maybe he knows Cincinnati might be joining a P5 in the near future???
