What I don't understand is why we're willing to part ways with an OC who is proven, and has only one year under his belt here. We're willing to downgrade to a guy who doesn't even want to be in that role simply because O doesn't like Canada?

This is childish and quite honestly pretty fricking stupid. O made a promise for a formula that the fanbase could stomach his dumb arse so long as he had top flight coordinators. Ensminger isn't even close, so O isn't holding up his end of the bargain.

Scheme against Bama, Georgia, Florida. With LSU’s talent we can be vanilla and still beat Ole Miss, Arkansas and in state out of conference teams. Ensminger CAN NOT match schematic ability against Bama, Georgia and Florida. Bottom frickin line

Agreed. The even deeper issue is that the next OC will have to scheme against Bama, Georgia, Florida, Miami, Auburn, and now A&M with Fisher at the helm, all in the same season. You hire Ensminger, the best you do is 9-4. More than likely you go 8-5, 7-6.

Without a qb it doesn't matter what your scheme is. DeShawn Watson beat Bama. Bryant got Shut down. Same scheme.

We also need someone that can develop quarterbacks. Somehow that's always forgotten.

The statement shouldn’t be that broad. Can Aranda out scheme Bama, UGA, Florida OC’s? You damn right. Can ensminger our scheme Bama, UGA, Florida DC’s. Not a chance. It’s about the coordinators

May be the first thing I have agreed with you on. But your 100 percent correct.

If your coordinator doubles as a QB coach then the coordinator matters for the reason you stated above. But I do agree that the scheme can't beat an elite defense without a top notch qb

Honestly, I don't think you are correct.

We need someone whose scheme is diverse enough to attack any/all defensive schemes...and, just as importantly, is an elite teacher of the scheme.

We don't need individual game plans for Georgia, Florida, and Bama.
