Everybody saying what we need. What we need is someone that can scheme against top teams

Scheme against Bama, Georgia, Florida. With LSU’s talent we can be vanilla and still beat Ole Miss, Arkansas and in state out of conference teams. Ensminger CAN NOT match schematic ability against Bama, Georgia and Florida. Bottom frickin line

Of course. That's why everyone is losing their minds over the prospect of hiring Ensminger. It'll be more of the same basic bullshite that doesn't work against good defenses.

In the short term yes, but recruits and coaches want stability, which comes from the head coach and no where else. If you’re doing it right coordinators should be leaving.

I agree but everyone is torn. If O makes a bad hire then it speeds up his eventual exit. But ppl want LSU to not be a whipping boy, so they want a good hire. It’s a paradox

I agree with you. With that said, I want LSU to succeed now. That means we hire the best offensive coordinator you can right now.

It's not scheme it's physicality and talent. Under Miles we could beat most of the remaining teams in the SEC because we either had better talent or were physically stronger up front. Bama could match us physically. Arky became a problem when Bert brought in the huge OL and was able to match us in the trenches. Florida was hit and miss and Ole Miss became problematic when Freeze lured better talent.
We are likely re-inventing the final years of the Miles era if Ensminger is the guy.

It's both. Talent for the most part hasn't been the problem for LSU.
